From a young age, enjoying nature and recycling were part of my family’s daily life. Growing up, I realized that those habits were not so common in all countries. I find European countries like England, France, Spain and Slovakia, protect green spaces and maintain good public transportation. However, in the United States or Mexico, for example, that kind of thinking is secondary to luxury and comfort. Don’t get me wrong, there are lots of amazing things in these countries like the culture, the history and the food! However, sustainability is not often prioritized. In April 2024, I attended my first Climate Fresk workshop, hosted and led by Anna Zelcer and Marina… This is how I really understood what is happening, how it is happening, what we are doing, and what we could be doing. Since then I have been learning more and more about climate change by attending events, watching videos online, and talking to experts.
My Climate Fresk Journey

It all started in April 2024 with a team-building session for the French-American Chamber of Commerce (FACC) board members. We gathered around the table for a Climate Fresk workshop, a collaborative and impactful experience that opened up powerful dialogue about sustainability, responsibility, and our shared future. That workshop was more than just a moment. It was the spark that ignited my interest in facilitation as a tool for education, connection, and action.
Inspired to deepen my skills, I signed up for a general public facilitation training in November 2024. It was a rich, hands-on experience that gave me the foundations I needed to support groups through the workshop with structure, empathy, and purpose.

Soon after, I began co-facilitating workshops, first with an adult group, then with a group of children. Each session brought new energy and lessons. In April 2025, I reached a new milestone: my first solo facilitation. Standing in front of the group on my own felt both thrilling and grounding. It confirmed how far I had come and how much I love guiding people through structured, meaningful conversations, to inspire climate action.
Since then, facilitation has become a regular part of my community work. I’ve been promoting the practice at local events like Super South, where neighborhood organizers and creatives come together to imagine new possibilities for our city. I also presented the workshop during the urban regeneration celebration organized by Roots Down and Fruitful Community, helping participants explore their roles in shaping more inclusive and sustainable neighborhoods. And during Atlanta Tech Week, I hosted a sustainability in tech workshop, bringing founders, VCs, and tech enthusiasts into the conversation to empower to take action whether in their personal lives or in their businesses.
